There’s More Before I knew Christ Jesus I was very passive, very quiet an introvert. I did not interact with people very well. When I was in my early twenties I worked in a typing pool for the Civil Service, which was a room of about 15 women who typed up specific jobs that came in. When I started this job I was so very quiet. In this large room there was a sitting area to the corner where we would all sit and have our tea breaks and lunch. I would bring a book with me and sit and read or try to read so that it looked like I was doing something rather than try to make conversation with others, it helped me cope with being in a large group of people. As time went on I started to get to know some of the people in the typing pool, who I could take to my breaks or lunch with.
